  • Bill, Your meds are wearing off; time to take another pill. For those of you who say that the Afghans merely have to get out of the way or, even better, help us in our fight against the Taliban, I can only say, you have never been in those villages and seen where and how these people live.

  • OK, THAT was funny. Thanks for the grin. Obviously, you weren't in Vietnam and have developed your sense of right and wrong, success and failure, win or lose, from too many nights sitting in front of CNN. We didn't lose in Vietnam because of our policy of restraint.

  • I have been deployed to Iraq 5 times (six, if you count Desert Storm) and to Afghanistan 3 times since 2002 and I have a deep and abiding respect and admiration for the Afghan people.

  • Methinks it's a GREAT idea. I drink the stuff myself when my wife has too much and has to pump (even better directly from the dispenser). Would NEVER consider throwing it out; that stuff is like liquid gold.

  • Of course I would. Family of 10 kids, we use "Mommy milk" on our cereal and to heal minor scraps and cuts.
